The Department of Chemistry, Rockhurst University, invites applications for a possible opening of a tenure track position at the rank of Assistant Professor in the area of Inorganic Chemistry effective August 2005. Applicants should possess a Ph.D. in the broadly defined area of Inorganic Chemistry (e.g., bioinorganic, catalysis, materials, organometallic, solid-state), a strong academic background, an excellent research record and demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching. The successful candidate will be expected to teach inorganic chemistry, physical chemistry and general chemistry at the undergraduate level and to develop an active research program involving undergraduate students. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
