Rockhurst University invites applications for three faculty positions in the Department of Physical Therapy Education. Responsibilities between these positions include teaching within the Doctor of Physical Therapy program, primarily in the areas of kinesiology/biomechanics, orthopedic assessment and treatment (experience with spinal rehabilitation preferred), clinical procedures, and neurological management. Additional duties include leading students in professional development, conducting and mentoring research, and participating in department/university committee activities.

Qualifications: Physical Therapist, possessing or eligible for Missouri licensure; doctoral degree (post-professional preferred); evidence of excellence in teaching at the post-baccalaureate level; demonstrated record of ongoing scholarship; evidence of service to the profession or community; evidence of strong clinical background and experience with clients in orthopedic settings.
Each position is a 9-month, tenure track appointment beginning August 2005. Rank and salary are commensurate with qualifications. Applications will be accepted until positions are filled.
